Collaborations with the NHS and patients

Chiesi is committed to working in collaboration and partnership with the NHS and patients with the goal of improving patient care

At Chiesi, our patients are always at the centre of our daily practice. We aim to partner and co-create with our patient community to improve healthcare and health outcomes in a way that is tailored to the specific needs and preferences of patients. Some examples of collaborations with patients include:

  • Clinical trial design and recruitment
  • Educational and disease awareness materials
  • Development of digital health solutions

Chiesi is also committed to working in collaboration with the NHS and external stakeholders. This allows us to incorporate these valuable insights into all our decisions and processes, providing tailored and effective solutions for improved patient outcomes which are also aligned with NHS priorities. • We are committed to transparency around our clinical studies, publishing results for all company-sponsored Phase 3 clinical trials and any clinical study results of significant medical importance regardless of the outcome. • Before we start any collaborative working project we commit to publishing an executive summary of the collaborative working agreement, as well as publishing the outcomes within six months of project completion so that NHS organisations and others can learn from and potentially replicate.
